يحتفل العالم سنوياً باليوم العالمي للسل الواقع في 24 آذار ويعتبر هذا اليوم مناسبة لرفع مستوى وعي المجتمع حول مرض السل والآثار الصحية والاجتماعية والاقتصادية لهذا الوباء، ولتعزيز الجهود المبذولة للقضاء عليه. وبالرغم من أن السل هو مرض يمكن الوقاية منه وعلاجه والشفاء منه، فهو لا يزال من أشدّ الأمراض المعدية خطراً في العالم.(للمزيد...)
