Standards for Daycares
These standards aim to ensure the quality of daycare services by providing a safe and stimulating environment that promotes the growth and well-being of children. They serve as a practical guide for staff and caregivers to ensure compliance with rules and regulations and to promote best practices in governance, human resources, learning and play environments, inclusivity and equal opportunities, parent engagement, health and safety, infrastructure, nutrition, and physical activity. These standards were developed as part of a partnership between the Knowledge to Policy (K2P) Center at the American University of Beirut and the International Rescue Committee (IRC), in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Health.
